While Cassie was in intensive care, I decided to look for information about her state of health. I went to the counter and asked to speak to the doctor in charge of the case.
After explaining who I was and my relationship with Cassie, the doctor informed me that she was in a serious but stable condition. They were closely monitoring her condition and doing everything they could to help her recover. However, they were still unsure about what exactly had happened and were conducting a series of tests to get more information.
The news made me worried and distressed. I wanted to be by Cassie’s side, holding her hand and offering as much support as possible. I decided to go back to the waiting room and join Spencer and Rebecca, who were talking quietly.
