I hadn’t slept as well as I did that night in years—truly.
"Wake up, sleepyhead," I heard her sly voice coaxing me awake as she caressed my face. I smiled at that—this girl was so cute and sweet. I opened my eyes, grateful she was the first thing I saw.
Her beautiful face beamed down at me. Honestly, I’d give a leg to wake up next to her just one more time.
"Good morning," I said, sitting up and kissing her, then pulling her onto my lap. She returned the kiss, smiling excitedly.
