Arthur looked up at Coridelia and I. He smiled and said, “Thank you Coridelia for all those years of you trying to fix my memory. Hannah, thank you my darling, great granddaughter. I think tomorrow we can find my beautiful wife and daughter. As for my son, he never wanted to be involved with the hospital.”
Coridelia smiled and turned to face me. She then says, “Hannah, we must be going Holly and Kat are probably worrying about us.” With that we walked out of Arthur’s office and through the halls of the hospital, out the front doors. We walked in silence for a bit till we got to the clearing before the cottage.
Coridelia stops and says, “You did good today.” I stopped also but before I could say a word. There’s a c***k of wood to the left of us. I grasped my sword hilt that was around my waist. Then I closed my eyes and made a bow and arrows appear. I drew the arrow ready to shoot. Coridelia made a sword appear ready to fight.
A bunch of creatures came our way with no weapons but they looked thirsty for blood. Coridelia starts to reason with these creatures. She can’t tell what they want. She steps towards them and I scream at her “telling her don’t come near them.” The creature that is right in front of her tries to bite her. I shot my arrow and shot the creature right in the forehead, down the creature went.
I yelled, “Get behind me,” while drawing another arrow and getting ready to shoot another creature. Coridelia moved behind me and her sword disappeared. She sat on the ground thinking of spells to get us out of this. While she is trying to figure out spells. I am shooting all the creatures with arrows in the heads. Before Coridelia had a chance at saying a spell, I killed all the creatures.
She smiles and says, “Nice work.” She stands up and starts walking towards the cabin again. I think, thanks a lot grandmother for your help. I start walking towards the cabin again but then I hear another c***k of wood to the left. I drew another arrow ready to shoot again but this time a woman came out with all bloody clothes and said, “Don’t shooooootttttt….” Fainting to the ground on the edge of the woods…
