“Are you done?,” Akita asked as Harumi tossed the last log of wood on the ground.
“Yes,” he responded hitting his both palms together, trying to get the dirt out of his palm. “I’m so tired,” he confessed.
“I know dear, go get cleaned up I’ll go get your food,” Akita smiled at him as she spoke.
Akita was a lovely mother to her son Harumi, which made him love her so much. Her short brown hair that rested on her shoulders and her brown eyes gave her this innocent look. She still looked so beautiful even as she aged, age hasn’t done anything on her.
“Okay mom,” he pecked his mom before hurrying into the house. Akita smiled staring at her son as he walked into the old house, she exhaled deeply before leaving to get his meal.
“Mom! Mom!,” she could hear the loud voice from the kitchen. She could tell who it was that could scream rudely like that when calling her, she ignored her and continued her hand movement holding the spoon and moving it from the pot to the plate. She wondered what could be her daughters problem this time around.
“Mom! Didn’t you hear me call you?,” she nagged appearing at the kitchen’s door.
“What’s it Alberta?,” she asked covering the pot.
“Mom I need some money,” Akita furrowed at her daughter when she heard what she said.
“For what?,” Akita asked closing the wooden door of the kitchen as she walked into the house through the back door.
“For my ball gown, I’m just coming from Edison’s shop and the price is more than what I have,” she whined following behind her mother.
“Alberta I thought you and Edison were good friends? Why don’t he give you the gown so you would balance later when you have the money?,” Akita asked placing the covered plate one the wooden table in the sitting room.
“Mom we had a fall-out, can I just have ten sliver coins?.”
“No Alberta, money is difficult to earn and I can’t just waste it on a gown.”
“Please...,” she pouted making a puppy eye. “It’s not just a gown, it’s my outfit for the ball next week.”
“Alberta just wear whatever you have, that look won’t work on me.” Akita statement made Alberta flick, rising from the chair she sat.
“Mom, really?.”
“Yes, the only money I have now was earned by Harumi and it’s going to be used for things more important than ‘ball gowns’,” Akita could see the disappointed look on her daughter’s face but she cared less. She hated how demanding Alberta was.
“Really mom? Fine then I guess I’ll just stay back at home then,” she bluffed before walking away.

Harumi was dressing up after he had finished taking his bat, he flinched when the closed door suddenly flew open revealing Alberta, he hurriedly grabbed a cloth to cover his chest making Alberta frown.
“Brother, lend me ten silver coins,” she went straight to the point.
“Wow! I don’t have such, I gave my last week earn to mom,” Harumi sincerely said.
“Yeah, mummy little boy,” she snide storming out of the house in range.

Yutani furrowed as she listened to the man, with her perfect green eyes glaring at him. “So you think I’ll help you convince the Alpha to set your criminal son free?,” she asked with a hint of sneer in her voice.
“Please he’s not a criminal, he’s innocent,” the man fell to ground and wept holding her by her feet.
“How dare you!,” Yutani yelled and flicked her feet out of his grip.
“Guards!!!,” she yelled. “Take this man to the dungeon, he and his son should be beheaded before sun rise,” she ordered and the guard grasped the old man, pulling him away as he continued pleading with Yutani.
“Pigs,” she spat rolling her eyes in irritation.
“Your gracious,” a soldier kneeled in-front of her. “The Alpha had returned.”
A smile cracked up on her face as she heard the news, remembering her decision which she had planned on sharing with him, but she also dreaded what he’s reaction will be, her son could be menace at times.
She rose up with her head held high, her mantua swept the neat floor as she took elegant steps.

Dino quietly stepped into his room, it has been almost a month since he left the country. His eyes moved around his room through his black mask. The candles were not lit and the curtains were not rolled up, just as he liked it. The knock on the door interrupted his thinking as he paused the action of taking off his mask.
“Alpha Dino.” The only person who could invade his privacy without being punished walked in.
“Mom,” she called over his shoulder.
“Welcome,” she said offering herself a seat. “What? Are you displeased by my presence?,” she slyly asked.
“Speak, you have limited time left,” he spoke walking up to the window, peeping through the closed curtains to stare at his pack members that were wandering around.
“I’ll go straight to the point since you don’t look happy. I came here to discuss about marriage.”
“What about marriage?,” he asked with his deep voice that could scare anyone but not Yutani.
“Son I want you to get married,” she spoke dreading his response.
Dino turned around to have a clearer view of his mother, he stared at her for a while with a fuzzy look in his eyes. “No, I don’t buy the idea,” he spoke up after a while of silence.
“Dino,” Yutani thundered rising up on her feet. “It’s no an idea, it’s a obligation, it’s something you must do as the Alpha, the pack members are getting impatient, you have to have an heir Dino, it’s a must,” she whined with range in her voice.
“And what if I don’t,” he asked showing her that he was prepared to argue with her.
“Dino,” she snarled and he smirked behind his mask, enjoying the venom from her side.
“People are complaining, cuz they don’t have the guts to come to you, they come to me instead,” she spoke glaring at her son who was glaring back at her.
“Anyone who has a problem with my reign as the Alpha of this pack can leave,” he said infuriating his mother even more.
With her eyes closed, she exhaled to calm her nerves down. “Listen Dino, I know more about rulership than you’ll ever do, I won’t seat back a watch you ruin my hard work. I already organized and ball next and at that ball you’re expected to pick a wife out of all the she wolfs present. You must do as I say, or else you want to lose your little pet.”
Her last statement made Dino dudgeon. “How dare you touch my stuff,” he snarled taking dangerous steps towards her.
“Dino you have to respect me, cuz I’ll always be ahead of you, you must listen to me cuz i brought you into this word. Don’t think I’m making jokes when I say I’ll kill that beast.” She sneered at him before exiting the room.
“Be calm Dino, she’s your mother,” he wolf spoke up.
“Shut up,” he grouched, anger overwhelming him.
“There’s a war close to you, if you can’t take it just slam your head on it,” his wolf said annoying him the more.
