Harumi returned from the days job like every Friday evening, he was surprised with the way the atmosphere of the house was. His both sister’s kept making silly noise’s running left and right while his mom sat like a spectator, telling them what look good or bad.
“What’s going on?,” Harumi asked walking more into the house for his family to notice him. His hair was rough due to the hectic day at work but that didn’t do anything to his handsome face.
“Harumi dear your sister here are going for the ball at the Alpha’s house,” Akita said with a sneer on her face.
“Oh yeah, Ace spoke about it it today,” Harumi said staring at his sisters. Seeing how busy they were in-front of the mirror jazzed up his interest for the ball.
“Mom,” he called sitting next to his mother.
“Mhmmm,” she answered her eyes still pinned on her daughters.
“Can I go too?,” he asker making Akita turn to him with a glare.
“Since when did you start finding interest in things like this?.”
“My colleagues at work are going, Ace is going too,” he replied with a blush on his cheek.
“No Harumi, I’ll needing help in the kitchen, your sister alone will go,” Akita said with her voice stern.
“Come on mom. What kind of help do you need? I can’t cook remember,” Harumi said holding his mom by her arm. “Please....”
“Harumi you can’t go, stop pleading,” Akita yelled gaining the attention of the girls that were getting ready.
“Look who wants to attend the ball,” Alberta mocked.
“Mom, why can’t he go?,” Jade the youngest child asked.
“Question me one more time then and you’ll also stay back.” This part of Akita was the part that Harumi hated. He couldn’t help but wonder why she was more strict with him than his sisters.
“I’ll just go shower,” Harumi said walking into his room with his head downcast as he walked into his room. Harumi laid flat on the bed without taking a shower or changing his dirty clothes. Tears poured down his face as he thought about his life.
“Harumi dear are you in?,” Akita asked knocking softly on the door, by the time the girls had already left. When she didn’t get a response she slowly pushed the door open and walked in, guilt over took her when she heard him sniff.
“Harumi don’t be like this, you know everything I do is for your good.”
“Don’t say that,” he interrupted his mother. “You know the ball isn’t a big deal to me, but it just made me realize something. You always make me feel that you want the best for me meanwhile you’re cheating and depriving me of the right to live like every normal human being. If not how do you explain giving an obligation without a sensible reason.” Harumi spoke with tears filled in his blue eyes.
“Harumi,” Akita called with pain in her eyes.
“Don’t give me that look. What do you want from me? You made me this, you made this me. Do you know how difficult it is for me to fit into the opposite gender, trying to prove to them that I’m actually one of them? My life is a mess.” Harumi whined none stop while tears spilled out of Akita’s eyes as she listened.
She was so speechless that she turned around and ran away, without a word.
Minutes after Akita had left Harumi had a rethink, he thought maybe he was too harsh on her, but. Why was she doing this to him, If she really had reason as she had claimed why can’t she relate it with him, or should we say HER....
Why on earth did she ask her to be the man among the three daughters? Why did she always have to be the sacrificial lamb to make her happy?
“Harumi,” she heard someone whisper her name and she turned around the room alerted. “I’m at your window dummy,” she heard the voice and quickly hurried to the window and pushed it open.
“Ace,” she called in surprise.
“Yes it’s me. Why ain’t you yet dressed?,” Ace asked glaring at his dirty shirt and rough hair.
“I’m not going,” Harumi weakly said avoiding Aces’s confused look.
“What a joke.”
“I’m serious Ace,” Harumi said glaring at him.
“Why Harumi? Girl from other packs will be attending, you can meet your mate there, who knows.”
“My mom said I can’t go.”
“Why?,” Ace half yelled.
“I don’t know,” Harumi said rolling her eyes.
“Come on Harumi, I already told you, you are too timid for a guy, you could been a girl instead,” Ace sneered.
“And what’s that supposed to mean?.”
“You can’t be mummy’s little boy forever, you’re grown, you’re nineteen. Don’t you think it’s time you start defiling her odd orders.”
“No Ace, stop it.”
“Hurry up, you have twenty minutes, I’ll be waiting underneath the mango tree. Use the window “ Ace whispered the last part a winked, leaving her with her conscience.
Times like this was when she needed her wolf to speak to, but she doesn’t have a wolf and it bothered her, Ace, Alberta, jade and lot of her friends had wolfs, that’s one of the reason she was considered weak. She ones asked her mom why she didn’t have a wolf and she said it was for the best.

“Let’s go,” she said tapping Ace slightly on his shoulders.
“I said twenty minutes, you took so long,” he whined standing up from the wood he was sitting.
“Nice outfit,” Ace complimented staring at Harumi.
“Let’s go before my mom figures out that I’m gone,” Harumi said pulling Ace’s wrist as they both ran off.

“Where were all of you when that witch took Demo?,” Alpha Dino asked the soldiers in charge of Demo’s cage. “Didn’t you guys hear me?” He asked in a really scary demeanor.
“Her gracious asked that she have it, we couldn’t refuse her Alpha, she threatened to kill us” The soldier spoke trying to hide his fear.
He knew how evil his mother was, but he still couldn’t help but blame them.“ Get ready for your punishment then,” he said and left with that. Something about his voice scared him, he was just twenty five. Why was his voice so deep?.
Dino stood at the high ground of his mansion, all dressed with his mask on. He hated people and didn’t like staying close to them, he could pick any girl he wants from here and maybe murder her after his mother returns his pet.
He eyes moved around the ball room as he watched noble men dance with ladies, acting so sweet and romantic, he e arched his brows as he looked more intensely. Was it just him or the girls looked familiar. He had a really clear view from up here, but they couldn’t see him.
“Do you mind steeping down?,” his wolf Xander asked.
“Hell no!!,” he furrowed.
“You could use your powers you know, like turn invisible,” Xander added and Dino couldn’t deny that he found the suggestion tantalizing.
There’s more to Alpha Dino, so much that there was some he’s mother didn’t even know about. “Let’s do this,” he said grinning from ear to ear.
“I want to go alone,” he instructed the soldiers as climbed down the stares. When he was sure there was no one around he shifted, disappearing into thin air and headed to the ball room.
He hated people, but it was better if they couldn’t see him and show their fears.
