“Can I stay here with you? Please don’t send me away.” Valerie asked Frank and Phoebe after a while.
“Absolutely….I am Frank and this my girlfriend, Phoebe.” Frank replied politely.
“Nice to meet you…I am Valerie.”
“Our pleasure…..” Phoebe smiled. “You must be hungry…There are some fruits there.”
Valerie looked the fruits the duo had gathered and felt like declining since they looked so strange. Knowing what she was thinking, Frank grabbed two, one for himself and one for Phoebe. He took a bite to show her they were safe.
“Don’t worry..” Phoebe added. “We have been eating these as well.”
“How long do you think we have been lost for?” Valerie asked as she took one and scrutinized it.
“We have lost track of time…” Frank answered her wearily.
“I really want to go home.” Valerie said
