The sky cleared, ridding itself of the dismal appearance it had had for a long time. Irene was seated in the cabin when she heard Diane’s voice from a distance. She looked up and saw nothing. Such was her life after the disappearance of her child. Ireen looked down and continued with her work. She abruptly felt someone touch her from behind. She turned and looked up only to see Diane looking all shabby with scruffy hair. “Mum.” she said.
