“He fell in!” Some of the students from St. Paul shouted as they dashed to where Diane and her friends were standing.
“What happened?” Fred asked her softly. Diane stared at him blankly. Fred checked her out and realized Diane was shaking immensely. There was a possibility she had seen something but she could not explain it as she was still in shock. Mrs. Reed, Mr. Willis and the other students’ guardian rushed to the scene looking perplexed.
