I glance at the black haired girl beside Carl and knew something was different.i gave Carl a knowingly look after I discovered he stuttered For the first time and I knew it was because of this girl he called Alice.
"so you were something before about sometime ago"?.zack asked curiously
"oh yes when I was still in kindergarten Carl always followed me everywhere with flowers claiming he liked me. everyone knew this, including my parents.
so they finally decided to arrange an engagement for two of us when we were in 12th grade"
uhhh but hhhm
what?
"it got cancelled"
what?why?
"well because of your friend who insisted he was not ready yet to be engaged" she said smiling slightly but one could see she was hurt.
why? men why did you lead her on when you knew you weren't ready?
well baby girl am ready? Zack said stylishly raising his eyebrows.
ok now am beginning to feel uncomfortable in here. Zack is eyeing me with his other eye.trying to tell me am the imposter.i know people think am his girlfriend so I have to take the fault .I looked at Carl waiting for him to defend me instead he just seatd there staring at her as if he is in some fantasy world.
"don't worry Zack you don't need to be ready for anything, the engagement is still on just cancelled for now till his ready.And that's why am enrolling in this school" Alice said excitedly looking at carl.oh my god did they just look into each other eyes in front of me.i know am not the real girlfriend but right now I am his girlfriend they didn't even consider I was there watching them. that kinda hurt my feelings but no I wouldn't admit it.
Zack eyed me again with his eye as if am taking the love of his life away from him.
while Alice keep on giving looks I could not decipher while masking it immediately with a smile . while Carl just kept on staring at her which made me wonder why he stopped the engagement.
geez this people are giving the creeps . wait Did she just say she is coming to our school?
