Jeanette stepped off the plane, hailed a cab, and booked it to her little apartment. Her thoughts swirled as her mind wouldn’t stop reliving the last few days. Once she got to the hotel room that night, she packed up everything she could and left. And while she was checking out, she told the hotel staff that if anything was left, to pack it and send it.
