Chapter 34Richards drove. She didn't push the speed limit, nor did she run red lights. Falcone might have. Maybe it was another reason why Richards didn't let him sit behind the wheel. There really wasn't a rush. Andrew Maxwell had been in a coma for days. After getting shot on the pier, and having been pulled from the lake unresponsive, the fact he was alive was a miracle in and of itself. Up until the hospital called, Falcone was losing faith that Maxwell would ever regain consciousness. It wasn't looking good for the retired officer.
