Chapter 18Rubino's was an icon in deli meat submarine sandwiches. Falcone called them Sammies. The fresh cold cuts, the finely chopped lettuce, the thin sliced tomatoes, and the house dressing was nothing compared to the fresh baked bread. A large Sammie was good for two, maybe three meals.
