Chapter two he is making it hard

                                                        Emma's POV.

It is now lunch thank goodness I can tell Kayla all about my day so far but before I could she cut me off as always ...

"OMG Emma did you see the new guy he is like so hot .." She said so excited and I pretend that I have not met him yet.

" Really I didn't even  know about a new guy are you serious!!!!! "I said I just had to do that pretend. Just then he walked by me and greeting me.

" Hey Emma see you later in class."He said at me and I could see Kayla getting really mad at me for lying at her . But that was the least of my problems I saw decor coming towards me with a concerned look on his face.

Here we go overprotective best guy friend on the loss let's hope things don't get to out of hand he was in a good mood this morning

"Well look what the  cat dragged in what no detention today " I asked with a smirk on my face

"No not today but if it wasn't for that new guy the other guy would have lost all his front teeth because he was looking at you when you were walking towards your locker..." He said with a straight face not even smiling ones. Wow who would have thought he would be so overprotective of me I mean I am one of his best friends but he doesn't need to go around trying to punch people for only working out me isn't that a little unfair well at least I know I have somebody looking out for me...

"Week have a seat and calm down. Kayla would you please stop staring at me. Why are even giving me a death stare ." I said not knowing what I did

"Emma you  lied to me you did know him and why did you not tell me he was in your class?" She asked obviously mad at me . I sat there listening to her as me and Jordan's eyes met and I could feel Decor's breath on my skin has he was leaning in trying to see who I was looking at.

" just know that I will punch him if he comes near you but even tries to date you I do not care that his uncle is are principal I will do the right thing I will not make the same mistake again letting a guy break you only because it's me not for any other reasons so don't even try it the both of you can stop sharing that look because I do not have a crush on Emma plus she's my best friend I would never want to date my best friend I would be too weird. Kayla don't even start with that story again we've been over it multiple times."He said to her she rolled her eyes at him.

After lunch was done I had a few more classes left for the day I was in biology my favorite class of all my classes but today was different because Jordan kept drawing my attention away from the teacher singing if I didn't get the tension for that so class went on and I got out of school and I was about to walk home because my dad called me right after class telling me that he could not pick me up because he was stuck at work with the meeting should be home tonight by 10 and the day I don't bring my umbrella how my life can get any better but I did right when I heard his voice

"Hey Emma Wanner ride home " he asked politely I just rolled my eyes at him giving him a stern look " come on when are gonna walk home are you there gonna be soaking with the time you get there Plus I could be living right down the street from you I won't even be that far I just have that feeling" he looked at me as if he thought I was joking but I was going to walk but I wasn't I was about to put my jacket on my backpack and I walked but before I could he grabbed my arm turning me to face him" come on Emma you know I won't let you walk getting the truck let's go" he asked one more time I nodded my head jumping into his truck it was awkward at first then we started chatting and the laughing and just having fun then came the question

" so Emma where do you live I need to know where I'm going otherwise I'm just gonna go to my house and you have to stay there until the rain goes away and that's not until tomorrow I heard " he said laughing and I was sitting there rolling my eyes and a smirk creeping on my lips I gave them my address and he was shocked to hear that was where I was living.

" no way are you sure that's where you live that can be possible " he said so shocked I was wondering why he was so shocked I guess was about to find out.

" so Mr Smarty Pants where do you live now that you know my address what's yours" I asked I wonder what happened so shocked I mean it's only an address I'm sure he can live with it.

" Emma I am your neighbour well technically my dad is I haven't been here since I was 18 years old I moved out right after that go to college how long have you guys been living here then I've never really seen you around I mean I wish you don't get out much and you're not party girl that is" he said he's body still in shock slowly changing

" you're right I don't get out much I'm not a party Girl my mother and father has been living here since before I was born it's so that's basically how long we've been here I don't even know what I am missing out on because I'm too busy working on school work I don't party at all I don't drink I don't smoke gross but I like to do other things hang out with friends you know the friends that I have and I love my family I mean I didn't even know you were Mr Pierce's son he's been coming over 4 years every Sunday and he never even mentioned having a son" I I said but I wasn't really surprised because Mr Pearce wasn't really open he was more of a keep to yourself person" well I guess I'll see you tomorrow then Jordan hope you don't miss me too much goodbye" I said leaving the truck but before heading in I at least said thank you for the Ride I was really hoping that I was gonna see him tomorrow at school for some reason I felt comfortable around him but we gonna have to wait until tomorrow to find out...
