Chapter4 : Dante

I pulled into a parking spot outside the restaurant. I killed the engine and got out to open her door for her. I offered her my hand to help her exit the vehicle. “Thank you, Mr. Valenti.” “No need to think me, Cara.” “Cara?” “It means dear in Italian.” Her face became slightly pink before it started to fade. I hold the door open for her, and the hostess takes us to a table and hands us two menus. “Your waitress will be out shortly to take your drink orders.” I nodded as the hostess blushed and hurried off. I was used to that kind of attention. Normally, I would’ve flirted back, but the one I wanted to be with was sitting across from me. I turned back to face Azalea before I looked over the menu. My eyes scanned over a menu I’ve seen over a dozen times. I already knew what I wanted to order. “Does anything stand out to you, Azalea” “I was looking at maybe getting the Spaghetti alle Vongole.” That’s one of my favorites. I think I’ll get that as well.” Our waitress comes by with two glasses of water. “Sorry about the wait. Is there anything I can get you?” “I think I’ll stick to the water. What about you?” I looked over at Azalea, and she nodded. “Water is just fine, thank you, though.” The waitress smiled. “No problem, I’m Maria, and if you’re ready i can take your food order now. Or do you need a little more time?” I shake my head. “No, we’re ready, we’d both like the Spaghetti alle Vongole.” She wrote it down on her pad. “Of course. Great choice, and if there’s anything I can get you, please don’t hesitate to ask.” She headed towards the kitchen, swaying her hips seductively. I turned my attention back on Azalea. Her hand shook as she gripped the glass in her hand and brought it to her naturally pouty lips. I smiled when she pulled the glass back away from her lips, which glistened with the moisture from the ice cold water. My tongue darted out to wet my lips. Gods, I wanted to f*****g devour her mouth while I rutted into her sweet cunt. The things I’d do to you, Cara. f**k I’d make you see f*****g stars. I leaned back in my chair as I studied her like one of my many vintage cars. “Are you enjoying it at the company so far? I mean, I know it’s only been half a workday, but curiosity, you know.” “Oh, I enjoy it, thank you so much, Mr. Valenti” “You know you can just call me Dante. No need to be so formal.” “I-I know I just feel like calling you by your first name is awkward, you’re Ira’s dad and my boss. Isn’t that weird?” “Only if you make it weird.” “Yeah, you sure? It won’t weird you out?” I shook my head. “No, Cara, I won’t get weirded out if you call me Dante.” “Okay, if you’re sure. Yeah, Dante, so far I’ve felt very welcomed.” “I’m glad.” I reached out and briefly touched her hand. “Sorry you had some condensation from the glass there.” “O-oh, thank you. You know you could’ve told me, and I would’ve dried my hand.” I opened my mouth to say something when the waitress came back through, “Here’s the Spaghetti alle Vongole. You both enjoy.” She looked over my way and bit her lower lip as she winked. I took a bite of the pasta, and my eyes fluttered shut, and I groaned. “This is so good.” I opened one eye to look at her with a big smile. “You liking it?” Her cheeks were flushed a bright red, and she nodded quickly before putting another forkful into her mouth. I smirked and slowly wrapped my lips around a forkful, but f**k did I wish it were her perky n*****s in my mouth instead of this metal fork. I pop the utensil out of my mouth. “Sorry, it was just so good I lost my composure for a moment.” “It’s okay, sometimes food is that good. Where you uh moan.” The sounds of silverware clinking seemed to echo from the other people and us dining. The smell of garlic bread wafted from the kitchen. I noticed how she kept taking stolen glances in my direction. There was some fresh parsley on the corner of her mouth. I leaned over the table and cleaned it up with my cloth napkin. “Sorry you had some parsley on your mouth.” I pulled away from her slowly. “Uh, th-thanks.” She blushed a little and pushed back some of her hair behind her ear. Her earrings glinted underneath the overhead lighting. She was so beautiful when she blushed. I nodded and took another bite of my food. “I don’t know if I could eat another bite.” She giggled. “Same, I feel like imma burst any minute.” “What about we get the rest to go? I’ll go pay while you ask for take home containers?” “Yeah, sure, Dante. I can do that.” I nodded and stood up. “Be right back to help you.” I headed up to pay for lunch, and when I came back, a waiter stopped by the table. He was talking to her, and he was too close to her. I didn’t like it, and I cleared my throat. “Azalea, did you get those take out containers?” The waiter moved back quickly. “Ah, yes, I was just giving them to her, sir.” He smiled and handed her the containers. I nodded and stepped closer to help her load up the food so we could get out of here as quickly as possible before I hit my fist into his f*****g nose. I glared over my shoulder at him, and I didn’t return my focus to the task at hand until he scurried away like a f*****g roach. She picked up her container. “Do you need me to carry yours as well, Dante?” “Nah, you don’t need to.” I waved my hand and jerked my chin towards the door. “We’d better get back to work, huh?” “Whatever you say, boss.”
