Chapter 6: Dante

“Yes, I’m sure. I’m fine, just a little tense from all this cooking, is all but don’t worry or feel bad. It was a pleasure to cook for the two most important ladies in my life.” Ira rolled her eyes, which was typical for her, but Azalea blushed and hid her face behind her coffee cup. I watched as Ira was teasing Azalea about something from when they were in high school. To be honest, I wasn’t giving the conversation my full attention; I was watching how flushed Azalea was getting. “Yeah, that is how it happened, Azalea. You thought that the teacher was pregnant and she had just gained weight over winter vacation.” “No! I didn’t think that because she gained weight, a higher clansmen mentioned she was…” she growled and huffed. I chuckled. “Alright, alright, you two settle it down.” “But dad I didn’t start it.” She looked over at Azalea. Azalea shook her head. “Oh, don’t you even go there!” “Ok, you two, what about we wrap up brunch? I need help putting away the leftovers and cleaning up the dishes.” Ira looked down at her watch. “s**t, I’m gonna be late if I don’t leave now, I have a house I’m showing today!” She got up and grabbed her bag before darting out the front door. “I can stay and help, Dante.” Azalea smiled as she stood up. Her tiny skirt did leave very little to the imagination. I could feel myself growing hard just from seeing a little bit of her exposed ass cheek that was poking out from her lace panties. I adjusted myself when her back was turned. I stood up and gathered the remaining dishes on the table. “Here start on the rising and throwing away of anything in the plates. I’ll put the leftovers away.” Azalea nodded and turned on the water as she rinsed the dishes and put them in the other sink. She started singing a folk song. I stopped dead in my tracks. She has a good voice. My jaw dropped, and I almost dropped my Nonna’s casserole dish. I turned away quickly and finished putting the leftovers away. I walked over to put the dishes in the dishwasher. She jumped a little and smiled down at her. “No, need to stop on my account, go on, keep singing. You have a lovely voice, Azalea.” “Thanks, Dante.” The apples of her cheeks were a deep red, but she went back to singing. I looked over at her every time she handed me a dish. Our eyes locked, but she was always the first one to look away. We finished up fairly quickly and started the dishwasher. “Well, I’m guessing you’re gonna head home now, huh?” “Why do you want me to stay?” “I mean, if you wanted to, but I’m sure you’re busy today since it’s your day off.” “Yeah, kinda, I was gonna stop by my parents’ grave.” “Yeah, I miss them. Your father was a very good friend to me.” I bet he’d be turning in his grave if he found out I started pinning after his daughter. I looked down and smiled. “Your father was a good man. I just became kinda absent after college. I regret that decision every day. He and your mother raised you well, Azalea.” She looked up at me. “Thank you, Dante, I mean that. Did you want to come with me? I’m sure he’d love it if you did.” “You really want me to come along?” She nodded. “It’s not as depressing if I go with someone.” “Then it’d be my honor to come along with you. Just give me a few moments to clean up, and I can drive you.” “Thanks. I’ll go wait in the living room.” I watched as she walked away. I growled low in my throat and resisted the urge to pull her back into my chest and f*****g claim her mouth. I was growing harder at that thought. I was dying to know what her lips felt and tasted like. I headed upstairs to freshen up. “f**k, but first I needed to f*****g jerk off.” I turned on the water at the sink in the bathroom to muffle my moans and grunts. I pulled down my jogging pants and gripped the base of my seven inch c**k and stroked in slow and rough jerks, smearing the bead of precum along my thick shaft. I grunted as I f****d into my hand. I couldn’t hold back, I was moving faster and faster until I was growling and gripping the marble bathroom sink with my free hand. I moaned loudly as I came into my hand. “f**k! Azalea! Yes… oh f**k yes!” I was growling and shaking as the waves of my release rippled through my lower back and down my legs. I groaned and straightened my back as it popped. “f**k… that damn, I’m still seeing stars.” I quickly cleaned up and changed into a black dress pants and a red button up. I made my way downstairs as I was fixing my cuffs. “Ready?” I called out as I entered the living room. I smoothed out the collar of my shirt. Azalea stood up. “Yeah, I’m ready, and you look nice.” She headed towards the door that led out to the garage. “Well, thank you.” I opened her door and closed it before I made my way over to the driver’s side. I started the engine and pulled out of the garage, making sure it closed all the way before pulling out of the driveway. I took my time heading to the cemetery. I needed to clear these thoughts about Azalea before I stood in front of her parents’ grave. “We’re almost there. Just a few more blocks.” She nodded her head and looked out the window. I could feel the tension rolling off of her in waves. f**k she was really tense, wasn’t she? I returned my gaze to the road as we approached the cemetery gates. I pulled into a parking spot and turned off the engine. I looked over at her. “Let’s go pay our respects?” She nodded as we exited the car. I locked it and walked next to her up the dirt path towards her parents’ tombstones. I didn’t say anything, I stayed the silent knight she could lean on. I wanted to be here for her if she ever needed anything. She’s the only woman I’ve ever felt that way towards, and it made me slightly uncomfortable. I don’t do long term, never, and i though i never would. She looked over at me. “Do you think they’d be proud of me? I mean, I don’t feel like I’ve accomplished much at all in life.” “You’re still young, you have your whole life ahead of you.” “You really think so?” She looked back towards the graveyard and made a turn to crouch down onto the dirt. “Yeah, I do.” She smiled up at me and looked back at the grave. “Hey mom and Dad— I came to visit, and look who came with me, Dad, it’s Dante.” She laughed but you could tell she was choking back a sob. “Hey, Atlas, sorry I’ve been M.I.A. I guess I let work take over. But you should be proud of Azalea. She finished college top of her class, and now she’s working at my company.” “Yeah, Dad— mom, I guess I’m climbing the ladder. I hope you’re proud of me.” She started to sob. I touched her shoulder. “Hey, it’s okay, let it out, it’ll help. I promise I remember when I lost my Nonna.” She looked up at me, and I ruffled her hair a little.”I know it’s not losing your parents, but my family used to be really close before I moved to the States.” She nodded. “No, it’s just as hard, especially if you were close to that person, regardless of where they are on your family tree.” “Yeah, see you’re wise beyond your years.” She giggled. “I guess so. Hear that, Dad, I’m old now.” She smiled. We stayed there for a few hours before she stood up and brushed off her stockings and skirt. “I’m ready whenever you are, Dante. Bye Mom. Bye Dad. I’ll be back soon. Maybe with Dante again.” She kissed her palm and placed it on the stone. I smiled and waved before we started to walk back down to the car. She was silent again. Her teeth were worrying her lower lip. I squeezed her shoulder, and her teeth stopped abusing her lip. “Thank you for coming. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.” I nodded. “No, thank you for allowing me to come and pay my respects too.”
