"I was too dumb and afraid to lose him that I did not want to confront him about it until one day, his younger brother came to talk to me. He apparently had been in the know about everything happening between me and the one I thought was my mate. He came to apologize to me for the irresponsible actions of his elder brother. The age gap between them was significant, so I was surprised that he would something like this, considering how unfairly he was being treated and that if he did not hate his brother already, he would have looked up to him and copied his actions.
