The sunlight crept through the blinds, and I groaned as I rolled over to answer the phone. I had no idea who was calling so early.
“Hello?”
“Corey! Molly has gone into labor!” Jacob’s excited voice informed me, and I smiled as I sat up. I wasn’t alone in bed and, since I was sandwiched between Hank and Jack, I had to wiggle downward to get out of bed.
“One second,” I whispered. Finally, after what felt like forever, I was able to slip out of bed. I hurried to the kitchen so that I could talk to Jacob. “When?”
“Jaden let us know about twenty minutes ago,” Jacob said, and even though I could hear the excitement in his voice, there was something else.
