Ainslon stood by the front windows, admiring the inside of their finished building. It had taken longer than she expected for everything to be finished because of unforeseen problems, but everything had worked out. The whimsical decorations that Patricia and Edna had a hand in designing surrounded polished wood and steel beams. The bottom floor housed their children’s book section and the top floor was dedicated to comic books, toys, and games. Tonight was the grand opening and she couldn’t wait. They’d created quite a bit of buzz over the last few weeks about the opening and expected a full house.
