Lainey stood on the stairs, listening to the conversation between the father and son in the living room, her rosy lips pursed.
She didn't expect that being kidnapped would provoke such a big reaction from Winfred.
But on the other hand, she didn't think that Winfred had to endure it silently and continue on.
They had already been pushed to the limit, and simply avoiding the problem wouldn't solve anything.
