As they came out Molly excitedly grabbed Anna's arm and whispered I am so excited,
"New President..?? WOW.." she joyfully kept talking.
"Will he be a young handsome guy?" I wish he will join us soon.
Anna’s walking aside her with a reactionless face. They took the elevator Molly tighten her grip grinned her teeth “Anna aren’t you excited?”
Anna pinched Molly’s cheek.
"No, darling. I am not, How can I be excited?"She sneered while showing the file to her with a smiling face.
They reached their workstation, Put-on their computers, mumbled and soon started typing again...
Molly felt hungry and started murmuring, No matter how hard we work for the company the employers will always remain mean to us,
Anna did you realized the boss swallowed our lunch break.
"Hmm," Anna while typing.
Anna handed a glasses of water to Molly, "Have it you will feel better."
Molly drank it in one go.
The meeting was so long that they missed the lunch break as per the company’s code of conduct if Any employee missed their lunchtime she/he will not be allowed to lunch later.
Molly is always like this, her mood swings made her behave like a teenaged girl. A few minutes back she was so excited about the New President and now she looks like an angry bird
On the other hand, Anna has always been a sensible, temper, nimble and luminous girl. She has a pleasing personality.
They quietly concentrating on their work simultaneously looking on computer screens, both have an amazing speed of typing almost 100 words per minute. They attain this speed in a short time as they work passionately.
Burd burd...
Anna's phone vibrated.. she stopped typing and looked at the screen..her eyes widened.
The unknown number flashed out ..it was the same number she rejected to pick up in the morning.
She again ignored and continued her work.
Immediately a flash message appeared on screen 20 missed calls from the same number.
She hastily asked Molly do you know "how to block harassing commercial calls?"
Molly raised her eyebrows and turned to Anna.
"Whose is harassing my girl?" Molly asked in a teasing manner.
"I am serious Molly." Anna gave her a serious look, showed her phone to Molly see an unknown number called me so many times today.
"Apart from my family, Robby and you, I have never shared my phone number with others," Anna said thoughtfully.
“It must be a commercial call.” She thought ambivalently.
Anna seems quite anxious about the strange caller.
"Don’t worry it just a call. "Molly rubbed her shoulder to make her feel comfortable.She looked at the time it’s already 6:00 pm.
She stretched her arms leaned back on the chair, its time to wrap up Anna. Molly sighed tiredly.
Both Shutdown their computers.Molly collected all the files and handed over the files to Anna
Asked her to put them in a safe and lock it. Anna did as directed.
Everyone around them is wrapping their work, few of them already left.
Molly and Ana both came out of the office building and headed to the bus stop.
“I couldn’t feel my fingers they are numb Molly said pressing her fingers on her palm”.
“Same here” Anna replied looking on her swollen fingers in a cold voice.
Molly lives on the other side of the city her bus stop is different,
“Ok, Anna sees you tomorrow bye take care." She said waving to her.
Anna waved her back “ you too take care .” with a little smile and parted their ways.
Anna got to the bus, took the window seat, started looking out of the window.
This city looks more beautiful in the evening bright colourful light along the roadside enhances the beauty of the night market. She suddenly felt the same wicked look on her, immediately she closed her eyes tightly and tighten her grip on her handbag.
The feeling of fear spread over her chest,
Soon the bus stop moving, it was her destined station. She pacified her breathe and jumped out of the bus, started walking towards her house.she took a few steps and quickly turned her head. She felt a dark shadow very close to her.
her face turned red, suddenly her pace increased to her house.
"She entered her house, sighed as she felt safe, she rushed to the dining table pour a glass of water and drank it,Sat down on a chair with her head lying on the table, her energy level has almost dropped and she is feeling very tired.
she didn’t eat for long today because of the workload and now this strange fear made her more exhausted. After resting for a while she raised her head. Starting looking for her mom.
"Mom where are you?" she called her mom while looking into the kitchen.
Panic in her heart raised, as she didn’t find her mother.
