Sue yawned and groaned in frustration as yet another idea was disapproved and tossed away. She had stopped counting nearly an hour ago how many of their ideas they failed to agree on.
She watched her father and Jakes’s frown in concentration, each deep in thought. She was at the point of feeling guilty about the entire situation. Despite it being the will of fate that brought her and Rick together, they had still broken the law and now their pack was in trouble, or at least in danger of being in trouble if they could not find a suitable solution, and fast.
They were having a problem agreeing on the best possible plan to rescue Rick and ran away without Benson and the pack being aware and, most importantly, without the Grey Stone pack suspecting that Peten’s pack had just played them.
