“Rick, we are sitting ducks,” Sue hissed under her breath. She watched as three enormous wolves walked out of the trees to the very area they had been sleeping just mere minutes before. Sue knew the three were not the only wolves there. She could still catch the scent of at least three others within a mile of them. She threw her eyes in the direction the human had gone, but could not see him.
