There was tension in the small community of Peten’s Pack. The air vibrated with apprehension. Every werewolf in the pack could smell it. They felt it in their bond as every member expected the worst.
The Grey Stone pack had arrived, ready to claim Kurian’s daughter as their Alpha’s son’s mate, only to discover she was missing. Now they stood in the middle of the street in front of Kurian’s house, looking menacing and demanding answers. They were a group of eleven men being led by their Alpha’s son. What they did not have in numbers, they made up for with their brute attitude. It was enough to make everyone uneasy and on edge.
Kurian, however, looked calm and composed as ever. He regarded his guests with authority as any Ruling Alpha should despite the circumstances.
