“No matter what I will get you out of here!” Hugo exclaimed while holding my hand.
I smiled “Stop, I know that day will come that I will have to pay for what I have done,” I said. He looked at me with tears on his eyes.
“But you might not be able to be free! I can lessen your prison sentence, just let me help you Dristan!”
I understand how he feels but there’s no way I can escape this. I know it will all come to this but I refuse to stop, I know the day will come that I’m going to be the one who will save my people and to fulfill my promise to my father.
“Dristan, listen to me. I can testify and prove them that you have done nothing wrong!” he exclaimed.
“Stop it Hugo, I won’t lie just to save myself. I’d rather die than to sacrifice them for a little time of freedom,” I said as I watch him cry in front of me “I’m sorry Hugo, but I need to fulfill my promise until the end. I hope you understand.”
“It’s time to go, Manson!” the police called
I stood up “I need to go” I said “I’ll see you again, I don’t know when but I promise I will see you again. Take care Hugo, I hope I can go to that vacation island you were talking about”
“Dristan…” Hugo said. “I will bring you there! I-I will wait for you promise me you will get out of here!” he shouted
I can feel the pain inside my chest, it’s hard for me as it is and leaving him behind, I don’t know what to do anymore. Even if I manage to escape all of this I’ll just get hunted by this guilt and will not be able to live a happy life even if I’m with him.

“Forgive me, for I am selfish and naïve that I’d rather sacrifice myself for the justice I’ve been longing for”
