Riya's POV
I coughed at the same time as my eyes opened and I struggled to get on my feet. As my cough subsided, I scanned the surroundings where I was in and fear gripped me, upon seeing that I was no longer in the Alpha's quarters. I was in a forest with tall, scary trees and wild paths.
I tried to remember how I had got here but the only thing I could recall was me falling down through a tunnel and landing here. I wondered if this was some other realm that most werewolves like myself had never been to.
I almost jumped out of my skin as I heard someone coughing behind me and I turned around sharply to see no other than Laurie, coughing and struggling to get on her feet. She finally got on her feet and looked surprised to see me.
