As Hiram and I walked in the park, my eyes appraised the beautiful sight of the park during the autumn season. The ground was covered with fallen crunchy leaves and the leaves on the tree had turned vibrant shades of red, yellow, and orange. The sounds of children playing, couples having their picnics and old people sitting around made the whole scene full of life and beauty. I smiled at myself at how the scenery reminded me of the times my family and I had visited the beach for our little family picnics.
“What is on your mind? You are oddly quiet.” Hiram’s voice brought my attention back to him. I pasted a small smile on my face and shook my head at him.
“Nothing.” I answered. “Just that the park looks beautiful today. Autumn gives me a nostalgic feeling.”
