Riya’s POV
After class, while Nadia and I waited by my locker for Hiram to take me home, Laurie and her friends walked into the hallway. At first, I noticed that she was walking just fine. But as soon as she saw us, she started to limp.
“That lying bitch.” Nadia whispered into my ears as we watched the girls advance towards us. Soon, Laurie was standing in front of us with a small angelic smile pasted on her face. A fake angelic smile.
“Hi, Riya.” She greeted me before turning her eyes to Nadia. Her smile turned into a sneer as she eyed Nadia. “Hello, serpent.”
“Hi, angel.” Nadia's tone carried an air of sarcasm as she eyed Laurie too.
“So…you guys are now BFFs, isn't it?” Laurie shifted her eyes back to me, her smile returning to her face.
“How's your leg?” I diverted the topic
