Running away

(Victoria POV)

It's my wedding today. I should be walking down the aisle now but here I'm in my room trying to run away from my own big day. Let me tell you how did I get into this mess.

So hey everyone I'm Victoria Liliane Muccia Steel. I'm the one and the only heiress of steel empire and my grandpa want me to marry the grandson of his business partner the Arron Stevens, whom I don't even know. By the looks, he gave me every time he came to visit me or grandpa sends chills down my spine. I can't put my finger in it but there is something wrong with that guy. He just doesn't strike me as a good person.

"I don't wanna marry him, grandpa" I argue with grandpa. He sighed. "You need to marry him. I'm not giving you a choice here." He replied and then gestured his guards to take me to my room.

Now I'm alone in my room thinking about my parents. I miss them a lot. My mom died while giving me birth and my dad abandoned me after my mother died. I really wanna find my dad. I was going through my mom's journals as usual. I really wanna go to LU like my mom did and found my dad love of her life.

'Always follow your heart no matter what the world thinks, as, in the end, it's just you and your thoughts'

This quote was written on the last page of my mom's college journal.

It struck me at the moment and decided to run away and transfer college to nyu and see how things turn out for me.

It was time for planning how can I get it all away with it. I called my best friend Laura to come and help me with it. We sort planned the whole thing.

I and Laura are friends since childhood. She is the princess of Brazil and she is supposed to rule after her dad the king. Laura's dad is also a grandpa business partner and one of our oldest friends. I know it's all way too cheesy but it is my life and here I am trying to get away from it. It's been the same since childhood, me and Laura were the most popular girls in school and we used to have boys as arm candy with us but it never really meant something it was always to piss my grandpa. So after my 18th birthday last month, grandpa decided that I should be married to a boy of his choice, Which brings me here on my wedding day.

"Hey, it's time for you to walk" one of the bridesmaid said to me.

"Alright, I'll be out in a minute" I replied.

After the girl left I gestured Laura to take my place and go out meanwhile I just grabbed my bag and tried to leave the place as soon as possible while Laura took my place.

I was getting out if here when everyone figured out it wasn't me in the wedding ceremony.

" I'm a sorry grandpa for this but I didn't want to get married now" I shouted and run for the taxi.

Thank God I and Laura had already called a cab to take me to the airport so that I could catch my flight on time which was 5 hours from now and the airport was 4 hr ride away. I basically didn't book flight from Colorado airport as it would be easy for my grandpa and his people to find me. So instead I booked a flight from the new Ham airport.

I have to change the taxi from Colorado airport, it was basically a trick to distract my grandpa.

I'm just 12 hours away from my dream to study at LU.

I landed here in London, the first thing I need to do is to find a decent salon and get my hair colour changed, and after that maybe get some contact lens and a pair of specs also so no one would recognize me.

As soon I landed I went to a mall where I went to salon and changed my hairs into jet black from my usual platinum blonde.

I also bought a pair a glasses some brown contact lenses to hide my natural ocean blue eyes and hella lot of makeup to make me unrecognizable. After going through all this I went to find some food outlet in the mall.
