CHAPTER EIGHT

Iverlyn's POV

l had put back the suit in the box and kept it , l was now in front of my full-lenght mirror looking at my reflection, the out fit suit me very well. l went downstairs to the kitchen, made a toast, took my keys and left.

I entered the café and saw Axel in the booth at the end, l sat opposite to him and brought out the book and the textbook, l gave him the textbook for him to go through it, as he was reading, a young girl who l thick is a waitress here, came up to us and smiled widely at us, and by 'us' l mean Axel, and winked at him asking "What do you want?, anything at all, just name it, I'll give it to you" 'Desperate much' I thought raising an eyebrow, like who is she, she might be cute and all but she's stupid for thinking Axel would give her any attention .

Axel just looked at her from head to toe with. a blank expression "Get me a cup of cappuccino", with that he looked back at his textbook and continued reading, she looked at me "I'll take some cookies and a strawberry drink",she left to get our orders.

We began writing when she came back with our orders,I decided to take a break and began eating my cookies while taking a sip of my drink. I looked up at Axel to see him still reading the textbook and sipping his cappuccino "Do you want a cookie?" I asked still looking at him, he didn't reply so I continued eating,when a hand snatched one of my cookies,I looked up and saw Axel eating the cookie ,I smiled and queried "So..., what's your favorite color?",he arched one of his perfect eyebrows and looked at me without saying anything.

'So much for progress' I thought, sighing and looked away, "Blue" he said. "That's rare,most boys say red", "You never apologized for splashing water on me" I continued and he just scoffed,that motherf*cker frickin scoffed at me "Asshole" I said finishing the project and packing up, "What did you just say?"he asked shocked and annoyed, knowing fully well what I had said. "I said you're an asshole" with that I dropped the money for my snack on the table, before I left with my bag.
