The year scrolled by faster than I had expected. My stay in the pack was gradually coming to an end.

And I was right, my feelings for the Alpha did not die either.

I walked around the pack house that morning and I met with the Luna. She wore a golden garment that covered her face and her train of maids.

"If it isn't the great Andrea." she said to me but I only stared at her with disgust

She was always fond of making fun of me in the public. "Can't you greet the Luna of the pack or do you have some grudge against me," she shot an evil smile at me but I continued to stare at her with hate and disgust.

"Well, my Alpha would be angry when I eventually tell him how rude you were to his mate today," she glared at me and began to walk away.

"I am sorry Luna," I apologized quickly knowing too well how the Alpha would react when he finds out about my behavior toward his mate.

"Get out of my way slimy slut," she insulted and I pulled away from the way.

I would already feel my anger rising so bad that I had to clutch my hands and clip my lips to the roof of my mouth to control it.

I walked away with rage stamping my foot angrily on the floor.

"Who the hell does she think she is? Because the Alpha treats her like the queen of the earth? When the time comes, I am going to crush her with the tips of my finger," I vowed.

I walked angrily into my room and banged the door behind me. Then my wolf appeared to me.

"Andrea, it is time," she said to me.

"Time for what?" I inquired, confused at what she was saying.

"Your mission in this world has been accomplished. There are no more threats to the kingdom," she announced.

"Soon, the moon goddess would request for your soul, so be prepared," she continued but I wasn't even listening to her anymore.

I could not imagine leaving this pack. As bad as it sounds, I couldn't imagine an eternity without the Alpha.

Though it was a sure fact that he didn't like me at least, I got to see that handsome face every morning.

Even if it isn't what I want, it was worth it.

"I can't go. I want to remain here," I returned as tears gradually dropped down from my eyes.

"But you know that isn't possible Andrea, it's against the natural laws of the gods," she said to me but mere words weren't going to dissuade me from what I had already decided to do.

"I have decided to stay and nobody is going to pull me away," I cried out.

"And remember it is also against natural laws for the descendants of the moon goddess to come down to earth in a werewolf form," I returned.

"I can't argue with you Andrea but you knew that you were going to leave soon, even before your assignment. So prepare.

I am only here to pass a message, get read," she ended and she was gone.

I could already feel hot tears forming at the corner of my eyes and I gradually let them down.

I brought out a portrait of the Alpha and his Luna that I had hidden and traced the picture with my hands.

"I wished you had given me even the slightest chance at your life, I lamented as more tears poured down from my eyes.

"Now I will have to leave without even saying goodbye and I know that you are not going to miss me because I mean absolutely nothing to you," I sighed hard, deeper than I had ever done all my life.

"You have to pull yourself together Andrea, you have duties to attend to," I encouraged myself.

I cleaned up my tears immediately and got my bath and got dressed.

I came out of my room and proceeded to the court for the next meeting.

From afar, I sensed the strong wolf scent of the Alpha king making my heart skip a lot of beats at regular intervals and tears forming in my eyes again.

Then, I saw him walking into the courtroom with Luna right beside him and they held their hands in the most romantic way that made me feel like going over to them and breaking them up but I was able to restrain myself.

The proceedings began but I could not focus in the slightest bit. I kept staring at the Alpha and his Luna with so much hate and disgust.

"I am supposed to be the one in that position," I thought, foaming with so much anger that I had to clutch my hands tightly to control it.

It got to the point that I could no longer stand looking at them, I had to leave.

I bowed down before the Alpha and his distasteful Luna and moved over to the rest room.

I was panting for breath so hard like someone who just engaged in a 500m meter race.

But this time, my legs weren't the ones doing the race, my heart, and my brain was.

"I can't let them remain like that, never!!" I half yelled.

"I am going to come in between them and make them hate each other so bad that the Alpha is going to execute that fool that seems to be all over him with his own hands" I vowed.

I had set my heart to make the Alpha mine before the time comes for me to be taken by the moon goddess.

At least when I eventually get him in my grip, the moon goddess would have no option but to let me be.

"But how do I separate them," I thought. "They are so madly in love."

Then, a deadly thought crossed my mind. A plan was so deadly that the Alpha would have no option but would trust a dagger through the heart of his mate with hate.

"Hahaha," I laughed.

"Play as much as you want, or as long as you still have the time to. Cause When I am done, you guys will hate each other with all the passion that you have in you," I whispered with a dark smile hanging on my lips.
