The lycans and I have been running with the vehicles that we had left, but we were forced to stop when one of the car’s tyres got a flat. To others, we would seem to be out in the middle of nowhere, but to us we were on our back routes through the country to the next safe destination, but now we had to stop. This gave me and my pack some time to take a breather from the running and I had to admit, I was tired, and my ankle was throbbing. I didn’t have enough time to let it heal properly and I didn’t have the ability to force myself to heal quicker like Lyker did.
I stared at the setting sun as the rest of the lycans got out of the cars to stretch their legs and I smiled as some of the pups came running around me, chasing each other. Even after the day they had, they still see
