It has been a couple of days since we moved back into the manor. Although it was great to be back, I still couldn’t get myself to get a decent night’s sleep. It didn’t feel the same without Ryker. Mostly everyone has already turned in for the night and I was glad for the newly soundproofed rooms because I heard some suggestive talks between my sister and Lyker that had me shutting my eyes as my cheeks flared. She really was the wild one of the two of us.
I sighed where I sat on the couch in my room as the breeze flowed over me through the open window and the crib caught my eyes. I found myself smiling again. It really was beautiful.
