“Why are you so heartless? Have you forgotten you have a mate?” He said and she turned away pretending like she didn't hear what he said, “you're a w***e” he said and that rang a bell in her ear, “was anything wrong in my statement?”she said, immediately Blake turned to her “are you questioning your Alpha?” he asked her to the wall holding he neck firmly, “don't you have feelings at all, it's been 3 months and Sam is no where to be found and you're not concerned” he added still holding her neck tightly, Naya kept struggling and kept tapping him by his hand to free her. Finally, he let her go and she fell to the ground coughing profusely, “even though you don't love him, is it same with your inner wolf. Infact, leave my sight right now, you disgust me” he said pointing at the door and she struggled to stand up, she still continued coughing and held her neck trying to catch her breath, “I SAID LEAVE!” He raised his voice at her, she looked at him and left.

Blake took time to get himself so he prepared for the council meeting he sighted a black tailored suit peak lapels, fitted waist, and streamlined trousers alongside white dress shirt, slim collar, French cuffs, a subtle sheen, Black slim tie, Black leather polished dress shoes, fits his slender shape, polished cap-toe oxfords with a sleek design and he picked up his black leather watch and set out to leave.

As he walked in, he was hearing what they were discussing but as he walked in they all kept quiet, “I'm here now, why did you stop? Just continue” he said, “We actually need our Luna, without her the pack isn't complete, there are some certain things she ought to control but she's not here” one of them said to him, “even if you've not found your Luna, you can pick one of the female wolves who hasn't mated and use her as your Luna and everyone knows you're into Naya” another person said and they all agreed and started murmuring, immediately he hit his hands on the table making a very loud sound and he stood up, everywhere went silent. “How dare you guys fit me with Naya, someone that denied her mate, she's selfish, her mate hasn't been seen for months and she doesn't care” he replied and left. He started thinking and he went into the forest to clear his head and he's tired of all this Luna talk.

Jordan was talking to his men, discussing on how to make them a threat to other kingdoms and at the same time ensuring the safety of his people then he turned to his guard, “send Chloe a message telling her, I need her on my bed tonight”, the guard bowed in front of him and left. When the message got to her she started smiling because she already has feelings for him, she's been hoping to rule side by side with him but unknowingly to her, she's just his fuckmate.

When she got to the palace she started hearing rumors about him wanting to get married to Diva, “it's not going to work not on my watch” she said to herself, “moreover who is this person called Diva, I must know her” she said and went to straight to his room, “I'm going to treat him better than the usual, he must forget about her” she continued talking to herself and laid on his bed.

Then, Jordan walked in and saw her, he smiled and walked to his table and dropped his accessories there and went to her. He pulled her close and raised her legs, kissing her from her neck. After they were done, Jordan smiled “today's different than usual” he said, she was happy and thought she had already made him think about her alone but Diva was still in his mind.

The next morning, Chloe woke up before Jordan all because she wanted to gossip. She left his room without making any sound, she started asking different maids and guards who Diva is, some didn't give her a reply, some said “I'm sorry, I can't disclose such information” and they left and she bumped into a particular maid so she decided to try her luck if she'll answer but this time around she promised to give her a huge amount of money and the maid pulled her to the back and agreed to tell her.

Rider went to meet Diva, “any changes?” he asked but she didn't give him a reply because she's been tired of listening to him and she's been thirsty for blood so she left him “you're walking out on me right, I'm doing this for the betterment of us and you're walking out on me, no problem” he said but she didn't give him a listening ear.

After the maid told her everything about Diva and also showed her Diva’s room. Coincidentally, they bumped into each other. “I'm sorry” Diva said and Chloe looked at her from the sole of her feet to the top of her head twice, “I've not seen you in this palace before, I'm Chloe by the way, and you are?” she extended her hands for a handshake, “I'm Diva” she said and left without shaking her. “So this is the so-called Diva, she doesn't even match my standards, I'll crush you like an ant” she said and hit her hands together.

Diva craving for blood became very strong and she had to satisfy herself. As she walked into the forest she saw a cheetah, so she pursued it and it was very fast, making her go into the forest. She caught her kill, drank the blood and threw the animal aside, when she looked around she was deep into the forest, so she sat down under a tree, her mother's talk came into her head about her being extraordinary, “will I adapt to it if comes?” she asked herself. Blake started perceiving a very familiar scent deep inside the woods but he wasn't sure and his wolf told him, the word r5ang in his head “MATE”.
