EVA’S POV
"Lorenzo, stop playing with that," I strained my voice as I shouted at him. Ever since Eduardo had brought toys for him, he had gotten addicted to them and played with them every single minute. "Lorenzo!" I shouted again. "Drop that and come over here."
"Okay, mama," he said grudgingly, and his little feet propelled him towards me. He appeared with his lips curled downwards in a frown.
"Why are you frowning?" I held his arm. "I'm your mama; you don't frown at me." I pinched the tip of his nose gently, and the corners of his lips turned upwards in a gentle smile.
"Well," I began to undo the buttons of his pajamas. "We are leaving the beach house today, and we are going back to the city."
