EVA’S POV
“Come, come, come, your father has woken up.” My mum shouted, banging hastily on my locked door. Hastily I stood up from my bed, unlocked my door and walked hastily behind her, excitement welling within me as I was happy he had finally woken up. However, as we kept walking my excitement soon began to fade into anger, annoyance and hatred building up in my veins as I walked towards the room he was being treated. I’d wanted him to wake up and I was sincerely happy that he was awake but going to see him and having to hear his voice was making me feel sick. The memory of him disowning me at a time I needed him the most haunted my mind and I slowed down my pace.
“Walk faster,” my mum called, turning her head as she looked at me.
“I’ll be right behind you.” I said and continued walk
