EVA’S POV
Once I was done packing, I stood up and went to my mum’s room, where Lorenzo had been sleeping, to wake him up.
“Lorenz, honey,” I said, tapping his back to alert him. “We are leaving.”
Rubbing his hand across his sleepy eyes, he asked, “We are leaving so soon?”
“Yeah, yeah. I have to fix something urgent at work tomorrow,” I said, holding his hand as I helped him climb out of the huge bed.
“What about grandma? Won’t we say bye to her?”
“I’ve said bye to her. Just come, let’s go to my room.” I took his hand, leading him to my room, and I dressed him up.
