The News about his company

When they got home, Emily went to the kitchen to start preparing for dinner. She begins by peeling and cutting the vegetables. When Jim creeps behind her, he softly hugs her waist and placed lays his head on her shoulder. When he did this Emily quickly tried to push him away but he just held her tighter and groans.

" Little Cub get off me I'm trying to cook!"

" I'm hungry." he said whining.

" Stop being a baby and let go of my waist!"

" But I'm hungry. I'm gonna die if I don't eat." he looks at her innocently.

Emily wanted to hit him for his childish acts. She didn't know why he was so selfish." Then die. How do you expect me to make dinner when you are busy disturbing me!" she raised her voice.

" Well I could eat you instead of making dinner." he whispers in her ear.

Upon hearing what he just said, Emily's ears went completely red. She stopped chopping the carrot and begged him to go away, he was driving her insane. Jim wasn't going to let her go that easily, he really wanted to say more but something reacted down his pants since he was standing behind and got so close to her. He decided to let her go before he does something to her.

He slowly let her go and offered to help. Emily didn't let him but he insisted making her to give in. When they finished cooking they went to the living room to eat. Emily switched on the TV and the news channel showed up. Emily wanted to change the channel but Jim stopped her.

" Tonight's news is about the company that was once the best in the world is now going bankrupt." the News reporter continues." Before the New CEO took over the company of jMj..."

Jim chokes on his food when he hears this. He didn't know that Daniel was now running his company. Seeing him choke Emily looked at him a bit scared and asked if he was okay.

" Yes I'm fine " he said looking back to the TV.

" Ever since the the original CEO went missing, Mr Johnson's younger son Jim. He chooses his older son, Daniel, to run the company."

Jim quickly grabs the remote and changes the channel afraid of them showing his picture on the news. Emily was confused by his sudden actions.

" Why are you changing the channel? I thought you wanted to watch the news."

" I lost my interest. let watch this instead." he suggested a cartoon

Emily didn't know wether he was brainless or mad. He wants them to watch cartoons? Emily didn't want to argue with him and lowered down her head and ate quietly.

After dinner Jim washed the dishes meanwhile Emily went to bed. After he was done he went to his room and lays down on his bed. He kept thinking about what he just heard on the news. He takes his phone and search for his company. turns out his company is in the hot searches.

He scrolls up and read the article. It out that his company was now going down. It was owing a lot of depts just like Daniel's company, Jim wasn't surprised by this. He knew already that Daniel doesn't know how to run a company all he knows is to spend money.

He wanted to go back home to save his company he has worked for, for many years. He didn't want to stand there and watch his company going bankrupt overnight. But he has no choice but to stay here in country M. He wanted to know what's happening there now so he calls his Best friend, Lou. He was actually a bit nervous on how Lou will react after being missing for 2 years. They have been best friends since high school. While Jim chose to be a businessman, all Lou wanted was to become a hacker. Jim never fully believed him but in the end, he was one of the best hackers in the world. Luckily for Jim he knew his number by heart so he easily dialed it.

Lou was currently chilling at his Villa in a hot tub when one of his servant hands him the phone. When he saw the unknown number he wondered who it was and put the phone in his ear.

" Hello" he said lazily drinking a glass of wine.

When Jim hears his voice, he noticed that his voice hadn't changed that much. He didn't know what to say as he didn't think it through about what he will say to him.

" Well hello." Lou thought someone was playing tricks on him and hang up. He throws the phone away to the nearby couch and went deep in the water. " Mhm. This is my time to relax. Let's not let anything or anyone to ruin in. Hmmm... ahhh." he inhales and exhales.

When Jim heard the beeping sound he throws his phone away as he didn't know what he says. He stares at the ceiling thinking what he went through to make his company successful. He honestly didn't imagine all his efforts he put in would go in vain. He wishes he never went to that hotel and never got drunk that night otherwise none of this was going to happen. But how was he going to meet Emily if he wasn't in a car accident. He turns over to the other side and recalls all the things she did for him.

She sacrificed her job and stayed at home until he got better. She even donated her blood to him that night in the hospital. He has finally finally recognized her in his heart. From now on he promise to give her the best life to repay what she has done for him. He jumps out of his bed and went to her room, right now he felt the need to hold her. Inside Emily's room she was watching a movie on her phone when she hears a knock on the door.

" Come in." she said lazily attentively looking at her phone.

When Jim came in he sees her in her bunny pyjama that looks pretty on her. He immediately smiled. Emily paused the movie before asking." is there something you need?"

He slowly walked up to her and hugged her. The atmosphere suddenly became quite and Emily was surprised by him. She hugs him back and wonders what happened. They stayed like that for a long time before Emily asking if everything was fine. Jim looked at her and said...

" I'm going to start looking for a job" he caressed her face.

Emily was confused and didn't know where he was going with this." You want a job? I don't think it's a great idea, you still need to focus on your health." she was really concerned about his health even though he has recovered now.

Hearing her concern made Jim's heart melt by how much she cares about him. " I'm fine now. I want to start taking care for you as you did to me when no one was there for me..." he stops for a second and continues.." I want to give you the best I can to say thank you for what you did for me."

At this point Emily got a bit teary. " but I don't want you to repay me." her voice was hoarsy.

" If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here. Just let me take care of you, okay?" he said this in an effection way.

Emily stood up not now what to say or do. Jim stands up and wraps his arms around her waist and says... " Just let me do this for you."

Emily was moved by everything he said. She hugged him with out realizing it. They stayed like that until Emily got felt sleepy and said goodnight to Jim. Jim returned to his room, his mind full of lot of things.
