Deciding to tell her the truth

Emily shouted one more time and he realized she was crying. He loosen up and tried to explain but Emily just told her to get out. Jim got out to give her space, he scratched his hear helplessly not knowing what to do. He tried to think of how did she find out. Could it be she saw the news?

Jim's mind was a mess right now, he didn't know what to say to her. An hour passed, Emily hadn't come out of her room so Jim decided to cook. When he was done he went to her room and with her food in the tray. He knocked but no one answered. He tries knocking a few times but still, no answer came from the other side of the room. Jim called out

" Emily open the, I made you dinner you should eat." just as expected, still no answer came out..

" Emily open up you're making me really scared. Come on and open up and you can tell me what's going on." his voice showed fear and worried he was. But Emily choose to ignore him.

She didn't want to keep on ignoring him but she kept recalling what had happened between him and the other girl making herself feeling more upset. She grabs the pillow and hugs it tightly, and then started to cry while keeping her voice down trying not to let Jim hears her.

Outside Jim waited for a few minutes before heading back to the kitchen to put her head in the microwave. After that he went to his room and laid down on his back. He thinks for a while and began asking himself...

" How will she react when I told her about me? How will she feel? Will she still be able to stay by my side like the way she did when I was still recovering?"

Jim decided to tell her the whole truth about him when she is better tomorrow. Jim wasn't feeling sleepy so he decided to play on his phone. It began raining very hard that night and it was almost 10 o'clock when Jim was preparing to go to bed. He hears the sound of a door slowly. When he looked at his door he realized it wasn't his it was Emily's. He climbed into bed and was about to switch off the lamp when out of nowhere a feeling told him to go to Emily.

He didn't hesitate and quickly jumped off his bed and rushed out. Emily was in the kitchen drinking water. When she came back to her room and closed the door something warm hugged her from behind and whispered...

" Let's sleep on the same bed I don't want you to a catch cold." Jim couldn't hold back his effection for Emily.

Emily wanted to refuse and chase him out but they were already walking towards her bed. Her bed wasn't that small as two people could fit on it. If it wasn't for the thunderstorm rain, Emily would have already kicked him out of her room. And she was really scared to thunderstorms especially at night. When she was younger before her parents died, she would run and climb up on her parents bed and hide her face in the blanket when it was raining like this.

So Emily found this an opportunity to not let the thunderstorm outside disturb her sleep since there is someone who will look after her for tonight.

Jim covered Emily with a lot of duvets before turning off the lights. When Jim turned off the lights Emily shrieked out of fear as she was not used to sleeping with the lights off. Jim got into the bed and laid down, he turned to face Emily's back that was facing him. He started at her for a while and noticed that every time a a lightning strikes Emily would hide under the duvets.

He pulled her into his arms and said, " tell me when you are still feeling cold, okay?" his voice was full of affection.

Emily couldn't help but to blush making her forgetting what she saw at restaurant. He cuddled her like she was a little baby. Emily soon feel asleep after a few minutes. When Jim sees Emily was now asleep, he relaxed and fell asleep.

Morning came and it was a bright beautiful day outside. The birds were singing beautifully outside. Today it was Saturday and both of them were not working on weekends. Jim slowly opened his eyes and he couldn't help but to smile heartily after the beautiful face he seeing right now. After been staring at Emily for a while he admirers her beauty. He has to admit she was beautiful, especially when she was sleeping. He wishes he could wake up next to her every day and cuddle her all night. Last night he couldn't stop cuddling, he felt stress-free when she was in his arms. She was obediently sleeping in his arms like a baby.

He decided to take her somewhere else so they could talk and solve everything. Thinking about that he wakes up and went to bathroom and brushed his teeth before heading to the kitchen to make breakfast for her. When he was done he went to her room and woke her up. When Emily smelled something delicious she opens her eyes to see where it is coming from. When she looked in front of her a delicious breakfast was waiting for her . Jim kissed her on the forehead and greeted her.

It felt like a dream to Emily. Jim was doing all of this for her ? She blushed deep inside but she couldn't show it. She shyly said..

" Thank you for the breakfast."

Jim smiled warmly and told her to shower after she finished eating then walked out of the room. Emily finished the breakfast very fast as she was very hungry since she didn't eat last night. After eating she went to take a shower and checked her body if Jim did something to her when she was in his arms. Thankfully nothing happened , Emily excitedly took her shower.

inside the shower she practiced her apology to Jim as it wasn't his fault. Emily felt like he took all the blame. When she came out she wore a yellow dress that reached to her knees. When she went to Jim in the living room she found him dressed up differently today, even though he wore casual clothes she found this style was different. Jim's face lighten up and went to take her hand. Emily didn't know what was going on so she wore a confused expression.

" What's going on little Cub?" she was all confused.

Jim told her they have somewhere to go tells her to stop asking questions as she will soon find out. When they went outside and car was waiting for them. They got in and the driver starts the car. In the car no one tried to speak so the car was quite all the way . When they got out Emily was surprised, she didn't know how to react. Jim read the expression on her face and asked with a smile.

" Do you like it?"

Emily excitedly nodded and hugged him. Honestly Jim was a little nervous when he chose this place, he didn't know wether she's going to like it or not. Seeing her current reaction he is reliefed.

Jim brought Emily to the flower park. It was beautiful filled with lots of different flowers. They entered and took a walk first before Jim could make his confession. While walking Emily was wearing a beautiful smile she has never shown before. Jim's heart beated with joy. Emily stopped by the lilies, Lilies are her favorite flowers. Seeing her look Jim picked up one and gave it to her. When Emily saw this she couldn't take it anymore and covers her face with her hands. Jim gently removed her hand and placed the lilie in her hand. Emily takes it shyly .

Jim found a good spot for them to sit so he could tell her everything.

"I have something to tell you.." he breathed in and out before continuing...

" Emily I never meant to hurt..." Jim was cut off by Emily before he finished his sentence.

" Look. I am the one that's supposed to apologize to you.I don't know what got into me when...when...wh.." Emily was struggling to come up with a reason why she was acting that way. She didn't want to tell him how she felt when she saw him acting so intimate with another girl.

Jim was confused. Why was she the one apologizing to him when he is supposed to be the one apologizing to her. Before he could say anything wrong, Jim let Emily finish.
