VANESSA'S P.O.V PRESENT DAY I was too shocked to speak, I didn't know what to say to comfort him. His eyes were drowning in pain and sadness so I did the first thing that popped into my head. Sometimes people don't need meaningless words. They just needed you there and so I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him closer, not saying a word but yet saying a lot. Saying I'm here now and I won't leave him. Saying he can be vulnerable around me. Saying I won't judge him for his past.
