The shock on their faces lasted for a few seconds before being quickly replaced by anger. At once the rest of her minions stepped towards me. Seems I hit a sore spot. I could take one werewolf, yes, but three at once?! Definitely not. Fear creeped through me and my mind started reeling on how to survive this. I moved fast, sidestepping the first wolf that pounced, narrowly missing a swipe aimed at my throat. I ducked under a second as it leapt, raking its claws across the air where my head had just been.
