I got all As on my tests, so I was happy about that, but the day just seems to go by too fast. Right now, I'm heading to my mother's house to have my talk with her. The guys said they would come get me if I'm too upset to drive myself home.
Parking outside of her house, I shut off my bike and placed my helmet on the handlebar. I wave to the guards in their car in the driveway. I see my mom open the drapes in the living room. Then she disappears away from the window. I know she is opening the door for me. She has a million locks on it now. Standing at the door, I hear the click of the last one unlocking, and then the door swings open. My mom standing there with a hard to read expression on her face.
"I didn't know you were coming, or I would have made some food or at least cleaned up." sh
