chapter 7

***Violet's pov***
The guys were pretty great, but they do need some work. I think that with Eric and me training them, they will get even better.
"Well, get off your asses, guys, so shower, then we can go get dinner if you wanna join me." I tell them. They all let out a loud groan at having to move, but they are all going to be sore tomorrow. Wes looks up at me after I stand over him to help him up.
"Dinner sounds great. I'm starving." He says after standing up.
"Great, get their lazy asses up. Ima go shower real fast." I say, then take off to the locker room.
Walking into the locker room, I walk to a shower and turn the water on as hot as I can stand. Once I peel off my workout gear, I throw it into the laundry basket. Eric's wife comes in to wash the towels, and since I've come here, I just leave my clothes, and she washes them for me so I don't have to carry my bag all the time. It all stays here, plus a duffle bag and motorcycle don't mix well.
Stepping into the shower inlet, the water hit my whole body, relaxing all my sore muscles. I'm used to a tough workout, so I won't be supper sore tomorrow, but the shower will help with that. I won't wash my hair, I'll do that later or in the morning, depends how late I stay out.
Getting out of the shower, I throw on my cloths and head out to the front to meet with everyone, I plan to take them to my favorite place a little cafe I discovered over the summer that I also work at sometimes when they need me. Getting to the front, I see that all but the twins are there.
"Damn, I got here before the twin. That’s a surprise. I mean, I didn't wash my hair, but come on." I say to everyone, then walk to the boy's locker room.
"Don't make me come in there. Let's go." I yell through the door.
"We don't mind if you come in, but we are coming." Ace yells back.
I walk back over to the front to wait for them and talk to Eric while I put on my jacket. Finally the twins arrive so I say good bye to Eric and that I would see him same time tomorrow.
Walking outside with everyone following me, I turn to Tess once at my back. "riding with me or taking the car with one of them,? It will be a colder ride now that it's dark." I ask her. Seth takes off his jacket he was wearing and hands it to Tess.
"Looks like I'm riding with you." She says all happy after throwing on Seth's jacket.
"In that case, follow me. It's a sort of ride like five minutes." I say, hopping onto my bike, followed by Tess getting on.
Pulling up to the cafe five minutes later, I wait for everyone to follow me inside. It's surprisingly dead, but schools have started, so that could be the reason. Shelly the owner turns to look at who is coming in and once she sees it's me a big smile comes on her face and walks over to me giving me a hug.
"So happy to see you, sweetheart. Who are all these people?" She asks. Shelly is like a mother to me. She has been there for me, doesn't judge me at all, and accepts me for who I am.
"These are my new friends. They are new in town, there’s Tess, Abby, Beth, Seth, Leo, Mark, Parker, and lastly the twins Wes and Ace" I say pointing everyone out.
"Lovely to meet you all. Now take a seat, and I'll be right over to take your orders." She says with a smile. Everyone takes a seat in some of the booths. I hope over the back of one to get a window seat.
"So Violet, how did you find this place?" Wes asks me.
"Well, driving around one night I found Shelly struggling with getting things into her car, so I stopped and helped her she tried offering me money for helping but I said so and instead she offered me lunch the next day, so I came in and have been coming every day since I even help by working some nights if they need the help." I answer truthfully.
"Seems like a great place so far. Hope the food is good." Leo says.
"Well, Alan, the cook can make you anything, right Alan!" I yell so he can hear me.
"Is that you vi! And yes, I can make anything why you ask." He asks me.
"Well, my friends here are hungry, and so am I, I want my normal, please." I yell back.
"Alan, back there will make you anything you want. They have menus, but only new people use them, so just tell me what you want, and I'll go tell him." I tell everyone. Everyone gives me their orders, so I walk back to tell Alan after I give him a hug. Walking back to the table, I hop back over to my spot.
"You see comfortable here." Tess says.
"Oh yea, this is like my second home. I work here when they need me and I rent the apartment above us. I stay here when I don't want to be at home. And no, I don't want to talk about why. Shelly is just very supportive of me, and I help her with the bills of this place by renting the apartment." I tell everyone. Everyone looks at me shocked, like how can I afford to rent a place when I'm only seventeen.
"How can you afford to do that?" Wes asks me.
"Well, let's just say I'm a very good boxer. I could live on my own now if I wanted to, but my mother would just have the police bring me back home. But once I turn eighteen, I'm out of there." I answer.
Satisfied by my answer everyone goes back to talking about all different things while we wait for the food. When I see Shelly coming out with all the food, I get out of my seat and help her pass out the food, grabbing mine last and jumping back into my seat next to Ace.
I got a bacon burger and onion rings my normal dinner when I come in every night. shoving some onion rings onto my burger and BBQ sauce, then taking a bite, I finally look up to everyone watching me.
"What? it's the only way to eat Alan's burgers, so don't give me that look. I'm hungry. That was a long workout taking on all you guys." I say, then take another bite.
"Just nice to see a girl actually eat. Yeah, Tess over here does, but she doesn't eat red meat, so just nice to see." Wes says. All the guys got burgers, too. Tess got a turkey burger, and Abby and Beth got salads with chicken. Go figure. Once I'm done with my burger, Shelly brings over my chocolate milkshake right away.
"Thanks, Shelly." I say to her.
"No problem, sweety. Anyone else wants one?" She asks everyone, but the girls get one.
When I'm finished, I get up and start grabbing everyone's empty plates and cups and walk them back to Alan. walking back out, I asked Shelly if she needed help tonight. She told me no, to go home and sleep since I had school and she was closing now anyway.
"Well then, we will head out. See you tomorrow I'll lock you two in when I leave so you can count money." I tell her after handing her the amount we owe for our meals. walking back over to everyone.
"Come on let go. Shelly wants to close early and Tess over there looks tired." I say, pointing to Tess, who’s leaning on Seth. Something tells me they like each other.
"What about the bill?" Wes asks me.
"I already took care of it. Now come on, you need to show me your house so I can pick Tess up in the morning." I say.
When everyone is outside, I lock the doors behind me and then walk over to my bike.
"Now I can follow you guys let's go." I say climbing on my bike and starting it up.
