Sitting in the warehouse hospital in front of my brother and the love of my life is the worst thing in my life. I don't know what to do with myself other than sit here and stare at them and listen to the heart monitor beeping. Leo is here too, but we have barely said a thing to each other. He is a mess; he is the one who carried Violet in, covered in her blood.
Ace got shot in the chest. It barely missed his heart, so he lost a lot of blood and is in a coma. Violet was on such an adrenalin high that she didn't feel herself getting shot multiple times.
