Chapter Eleven Tanner- 10 Years Ago “I don’t want to go back to school.” I said, then turned over on my stomach. Griffin and I were on a large rock in a secluded part of the James River known as Texas Beach. I’d spent the better part of the day either on my stomach or jumping into the water to hide the b***r that just didn’t want to go away. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Griffin’s abs flex as he got into a sitting position and had to stifle a groan. “Why do you hate Benedictine so much?” Griffin asked, then opened the cooler we’d brought along and snagged a soda out of it.
