I arrived at the ballet studio first. After turning on all the lights I sat at the piano and practiced the chords to the song I was composing myself, allowing my fingers to improvise different melodies. Instead of being a simple guitar piece it was morphing into something else, and I could hear an actual orchestra playing along in my head.
