“Did the man pursue you again?” Dad asks me during the cleanup. I shake my head. “We didn’t see the man who was pursuing us today. We thought that a different person would be keeping an eye on us. But we didn’t sense anyone suspicious while we were there. Now I begin to wonder if we get it wrong this time,” I say to dad.
Dad rubs his chin, trying to figure out the pursuer’s intention. “I’m not sure what this guy has in mind,” he says, “But you still need to be careful no matter what. He only does it to let your guard down. He’ll start attacking you when you least expect. Besides, I’m sure that the same person will keep an eye on you.
