Chapter 6
My heart is racing as I’m getting ready for the mission tonight. I don’t know why I’m feeling so uneasy right now. Is it because I’m going to face Marisa Kuroki? Well, I admit that it can be one of the reasons. But I feel like something sinister bounds to happen during this mission. I hate it when I feel this way. And I can’t seem to shake off this uneasiness away from me no matter what I do.
Yuuto is about to leave as I head out of my room. “You’re still here? I thought that you already left,” I say to him. Yuuto only smiles at me when he sees me. “Well, it’s still early. Besides, I need to let you know something before I head out. It’s possible that the pursuer may be there as well. And he may start pursuing us as soon as we leave the house,” Yuuto replies.
