Chapter five: Alex

the office was still buzzing as usual. everyone focused on one thing or the other.

Attention everyone". Ava spoke out loudly while everyone turned to her.

ohhh, whose that guy" Sophia whispered to julliana who had her eyes still on the computer system and document she held on her hand.

I think he's really hot" Cynthia implied.

Everyone, this is our new cleaner that would be cleaning this place from now on" Ava said as she looked at the young man in disgust.

" cleaner!! why don't you introduce your.... unknown self?". Ava said rudely.

woooow, that..... that.....

that was f*****g rude" Robby whispered to Cynthia who was sitting next to her.

I ummm, my name's Alex, Alex Ryder. I'm the new cleaner, he said calmly.

at that moment, Julianna who heard the name "Alex", raised her head and upon seeing a familiar face, she was so shocked.

oh my God, what is he doing here" julliana muttered under her breath.

Mr cleaner, I'll show you around" ava said as she walks out with a frown on her face.

after some moment of showing Alex around, " hey nerd, you really need to get to work. you better work hard than slacking off, unless you want to get fired". ava said as she looked at him with disdain.

" of course ma'am, I will work hard" Alex said calmly as though he was still pulling his s**t together even after Ava's rude words to him.

"Better for you. people like you get fired easily, just get ready" Ava scoffed and left.

" and people like you would even regret being born on earth when they are being teached some lessons" Alex said within himself as he went straight to start his cleaning job.

for Alex to still work in the summit corporation, though he owns it, he had to let go of his pride and anger, so that he would get what he want. he already knew that but had to like.....go with flow.

hey, I think we've worked for hours now, why don't we go for a break" Sophia who was busy stretching her self, spoke up.

I'll treat you guys today. why don't we find a near by fancy retrauant and eat lunch.

that's great, Robby stood up immediately while the others followed.

julliana, why don't you come with us, Rachel who saw julliana still sitting and was busy with work couldn't help but called out.

" sure", she replied as she quickly grabbed her bag and credit card.

uhmm, Jullie, you can actually.... drop that, I'm treating you guys for meal today" Sophia said as she points out, on seeing julliana with her bag.

as they all moved, Robby stopped on the track causing everyone to pause from moving.

what wrong" Rachel asked on seeing Robby.

"I think we forgot something... I mean.... someone. Robby said, lifting one of his left finger.

what did we forgot....and.... who did we forgot". julliana who still don't understand Robby asked.

we forgot to ask the cleaning guy to come with us" Robby said as he turns to go back.

you guys should keep going without me. and Cynthia, you have to send me the location of the restaurant you guys are heading to. I'll come with the cleaning guy. besides his a newbie, we really need to treat him well. Robby said as he ran back.

Robby is right, I need to like.....get to know him better. I mean his hot, cool, his smile, his totally my type and..... Cynthia kept exaggerating while the others already left her to keep daydreaming. she turns back and found them far ahead of her, then she quickly ran to catch up with them.

At the casino restaurant, the team gathered, Alex and Robby arrived. julliana seeing Alex felt like lightning had struck her for the moment. Alex and julliana had this eye to eye contact but had to act normally so as to not cause curiosity.

as they settled down, round the dinning table, they ordered foods and drinks. of course Sophia is paying the bills, it on her though.

so Alex tell us about your self a little bit" Cynthia who couldn't stop staring at Alex had to ask since it the right moment.

"nothing special, just this and that" Alex said as he put on an act of being shy in front of everyone so that he would escape any other questions.

why would you have to accept cleaning job instead of looking for a better job", Cynthia asked as she was still curious about him.

I just love my job. they pay me well and that's all I need, I'm able to feed my self, that's all I still need so what more.

so, you dating someone?" Cynthia can you just shut it for the moment, Sophia cautioned Cynthia in disbelief, upon hearing her question.

it fine, I am still single" Alex said as he keeps smilling.

you are asking too many questions" Robby whispered to Cynthia who was sitting beside him.

he's really cute" Cynthia said as she licks her lips.

julliana her self seemed to be lust by Alex cute face, his body phisic and all those. she just kept wandering why someone who is awfully handsome and have everything a lady wants in a man, is still single.

Alex who caught her staring, acted fool by pretending not to notice. but as a guy, his number one plan was to make julliana insanely fall in love with him to the extent that it's out of control.

one hour later, the team seemed to be done with their lunch and they all decided to retire back to the office.

I think I have to use the restroom" julliana said as she excused herself from the group on their way out. Alex somehow managed to separated himself from the team, causing him to wait for julliana outside the restroom.

ohh my God you startled me", julliana said upon seeing Alex.

were you waiting for someone" Julianna asked the moment she saw him standing.

actually, it's you I'm waiting for"

Alex smiled at her in a cute way that even made julliana not to think straight for the time been.

hello, are you okay" Alex asked julliana when she saw her, not on guard.she keeps staring at him without saying a word.

ohh, yeah...yeah...I mean yes, no. I'm so sorry. oh God. i..i.. I'm going back to the office. yeah bye. Julianna bawled and left immediately. she couldn't believe her self that she lost words to Alex.

Alex who couldn't help but smile as though nothing happened. "ma'am I think you are following the wrong way" he suddenly called out to julliana. " it that way". he said with slight smile on his face, pointing at the exit door.

ohh yes, that way, I came that way. I mean, how can I forget" julliana said as she was sttutering and tripping over words.

at home, julliana's mind suddenly recall the incident that had happened at the casino restaurant when she was at the restroom with Alex.

I can't believe I did those things, I mean how can he even smile when he knew that I was fighting with words anyway. his so unbelievable. s**t, I f****d up, I f****d up, she said as she keeps rolling her self on the bed and cuddling with the pillow.
