I'M JUST IN LOVE

Chapter three. strangers meet.

Julianna who decided to go home since she had stayed for long in the hospital. she had already called her colleagues at work and told them about situation in case the office asked of her.

she steps outside the hospital and noticed her hair was not in a good shape so she decided to fix her hair in an attempt to use a nearby car glass as her mirror.

as she bends to fix her hair, in the scene we see Alex who had just entered the car and was ready to move out, gave an order, the moment he saw julliana." do not turn on the ignition".he commanded.

he couldn't help but keep watching her through the car window glass as she fixes her hair, apply her lipstick on her lips. he kept staring at her till she was done and left.

alex, himself was busy smiling that he didn't even realize that smile was all over his face. "sir can we move now". Mr Charles said upon looking at Alex through the rearview mirror. "ohh yeah, yeah, sure". he said as he snapped back to reality. mr. Charles who was with him couldn't help but slightly smiled as he noticed his boss mood today.

"she works at your company, you should get to know her if you wish to know her more". Mr Charles suddenly spoke up. how did you know that, Alex asked in surprise.

"I figured out that you would be interested in her from the moment she was in the elevator with you. so I secretly tracked her down, thinking that one day you might like to meet her again or need her background check". Mr Charles said, still smilling.

Alex scoffed in disbelief upon hearing him. " I mean,.....when did I ever said that I was interested in any lady". "oh my God, you are so unbelievably mr Charles". Alex said as he keeps scratching his head.

" the background check wasn't even nec... necessary" he murmured to himself.

the next morning, julliana who already arrived at the office has being working for hours. "hey soph, I'm going to the cafe. can you look into this for me" she said as she handles a file to her.

where are you going young lady" Sophia asked.

to get an iced Americano" she replied

get me one while coming back"

"see ya", she said as she grabbed her credit card from her bag while leaving.

Julianna sighed, taking a sip of her iced Americano as she turns to walked back to her office. It had been a long morning, and she was glad to have a break. As she turned to a corner, she collided with someone, which she almost spill coffee all over his shirt.

"I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, looking up to see a tall, handsome man standing in front of her.

But to her surprise, he smiled and said, "It's okay, no harm done."

Alex, to his surprise was so shocked when he saw the cute lady she kept meeting but the funny thing is that he didn't want to tell her that they already met before. instead, he went with the flow and acted like it his first time meeting her.

Julianna's eyes met his, and she felt a spark of surprise. He was really good-looking, with piercing eyes and a charming smile.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice calm and soothing.

Julianna nodded, laughing. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a bit clumsy, I guess."

The man chuckled, and they started chatting. Julianna couldn't believe how easy it was to talk to him. They discussed everything from the weather to their favorite books.

As they stood there, Julianna noticed people giving them weird looks. She realized they were blocking the hallway. "Sorry, I guess we're in the way," she said, gesturing to the crowd.

The man smiled and nodded, but he didn't move. "I'm Alex," he said, his eyes cringling at the corners.

"I'm Julianna," she replied, feeling a bit breathless.

As they continued talking, Julianna had no idea she had seen him before. But she was having too much fun to worry about it. Alex was charming, witty, and easy to talk to. She was glad she'd bumped into him, but was also glad that she didn't spill coffee and all.

Eventually, Alex glanced at his watch and nodded. "I have to go," he said, his voice regretful.

Julianna nodded, feeling a pang of disappointment. "It was nice meeting you, Alex."

Alex smiled and handed her his phone. "Let's stay in touch, Julianna. Maybe we can grab coffee again sometime?"

Julianna's heart skipped a beat as she took his phone and typed in her number. She had a feeling this was just the start of something cool.

julliana, walking back to the office, shinning her teeth and as well thinking about what just happened few moments ago. she kept thinking about the cute face, great physic, his sexy lips and all those." his totally my type" she muttered under her breath.

" girl you need to spill what just happened", Sophia who saw her from a distance as she was sipping the iced Americano and equally grinning her teeth, couldn't help but wander what's up with her. "ohh come on, that's not it. I'm having a good day, that's all".

"that's more than a good day, spill". Sophia who couldn't wait patiently dragged her to the near by bench. as they both sat, julliana smiled.

okay hear is the thing, there is this guy........" instead of you both to go and work on better things, you two are here discussing only God knows conversation" Ava who saw the both chatting couldn't help but felt so jealous as she said in disgust.

and the last time I checked, what me and Jullie is discussing about has nothing to do with you. Sophia fired back angrily as she stood up, her gaze focused on her. she actually feels frustrated, whenever she sees Ava trying to engage into something of non of her concerns. "soph, let go" julliana intervened on seeing her best friends level of rage.

"wench" Ava said as she left.

she is so shameless, she's not worth it at all. Sophia said, clearly she was still angry. don't worry about her you should worry about your cute self okay. julliana said making a funny face as she tries to cheer her up.

anyway, how is Grandma. heard you went to the hospital. Sophia asked.

she's cool, just stressed out about and all". julliana replied, trying not to make her best friend worry anymore.

by the way, did you review the documents? Jullie asked as they both head back to the office.
