The sirens grew louder. Red and blue lights flashed outside the abandoned building, cutting through the darkness. Inside, however, the air remained heavy and suffocating. Nguyen Khang pressed his hand against his arm, slowing the bleeding. His gaze never left Linh. “That night,” he said quietly. “Tell me everything.” Linh stood still. Her fingers tightened slightly.
